CDM Coordinator
Appointed at the earliest possible stage of a construction project by the client.We will act as the CDM Co-ordinator for a project that falls within the scope of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007. This role requires working closely with the Client, Designers/Architects, Principal Contractor and Contractors during the conceptual and initial phases of the project to ensure all aspects of health and safety have been considered and sufficient resources have been allocated. During the construction phase, the CDM coordinator remains part of the management team, ensuring effective communication between the principal parties in relation to health, safety and environmental issues.
On completion of the construction phase a comprehensive safety file is prepared and presented to the client.
